"It's super weird," says Vanitas, although there's not as much bite as there would have been two posts ago about it. Like a flash-fire, things have burnt themselves out and he feels tired on top of the usual simmer. He knows he shouldn't be stopping Ventus from leaving - the longer he's here, the more they might be discovered - but he doesn't... actually want him to leave. His breathing is, thankfully, calming down as he listens.
"I have nightmares but they're about things that actually matter." I am so sorry that this is Vanitas being comparatively friendly. He both does and doesn't want to talk about them, but he's kind of shot himself in the foot again. "Like lessons." So many about lessons. Ranging from business as usual to Eraqus holding him down and finishing what he started exactly like that time. He's not going to tell Ventus that if he doesn't know - it feels like something he gets to keep for himself even against the tired anger that Ventus doesn't know.
He sort of lowers his front half gingerly onto the bed in a way that suggests he'd flop down on it if that wouldn't make his chest scream, knees and legs still on the floor. His head moves from face down towards Ventus, so the next part starts out muffled: "Can't move in those either, a lot."

Or moving way too slow, like molasses!
